This notice explains how Estimate Shepherd ("we") handles information on this website and when we provide services to home-service businesses ("clients").
What we collect
- Audit requests and messages: your name if you give it, shop name, email, city, software used, and any files you send (for example an estimate export).
- Client service data: for clients, estimate details and the contact information of the client's own customers, used only to send follow-ups on the client's behalf.
- Website data: this site uses no analytics or advertising cookies. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security.
How we use it
- To prepare the audit you request and reply to you.
- To provide services to clients under their service agreement.
- To create de-identified, aggregated statistics that do not identify any shop or customer.
We do not sell personal information or use a client's customer data for our own marketing. We do not text anyone.
Sharing
We use service providers to run our business (for example email, hosting, document and payment providers). They may process information for us under confidentiality terms. We may disclose information if the law requires it.
Retention
We delete audit files after the audit is delivered unless you become a client. We delete or return client data within 30 days after a client's service ends, except where the law requires us to keep it.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards, including multi-factor authentication and limited, revocable access to client systems. We never ask for owner passwords.
Email preferences
If you get an email from us and don't want more, reply "no thanks" or use the unsubscribe link and we will stop.
